Program Overview

At J3 Health & Wellness Supplies Inc. (“J3”), we are committed to delivering not only quality mobility equipment, but also exceptional ongoing support.

To enhance your purchase experience, J3 proudly offers an Extended Walker Service Warranty, providing complimentary labor for qualifying repairs for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

This program is designed to give customers peace of mind and reduce the cost of maintaining their mobility equipment.

Coverage Summary

During the one (1) year warranty period from the date of purchase:

A. Manufacturer Warranty Repairs

If a walker issue is deemed a manufacturer defect and covered under the manufacturer’s warranty:

  • J3 will cover 100% of labor costs associated with the repair
  • Replacement parts are covered as per the manufacturer’s warranty terms

B. Non-Warranty (Wear & Tear) Repairs

If the issue is determined to be normal wear and tear and not covered by the manufacturer:

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of replacement parts
  • J3 will cover 100% of labor costs to install the replacement parts

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Extended Walker Service Warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The walker must be purchased directly from J3 Health & Wellness
  2. The walker must be within one (1) year of the original purchase date
  3. The customer account must be in good standing at the time of service
  4. Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) must be provided upon request
  5. The walker must have been used under normal conditions and for its intended purpose

 Additional Value-Added Benefits

As part of this program, J3 may also provide:

  • Priority Service Scheduling for warranty-related repairs
  • Basic Safety Inspection at time of service (brakes, wheels, frame integrity, fasteners)
  • Adjustment Services (e.g., handle height, brake tension) at no additional labor cost
  • Service Documentation for customer records and care tracking

Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from:
    • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
    • Improper storage or transportation
    • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
    • Accidents or external impacts
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
  • Consumable or routine wear items beyond reasonable use (e.g., grips, brake cables, wheels) unless replaced under Section 2B (labor still covered)
  • Service calls outside J3’s standard service area (additional travel fees may apply)
  • Equipment not purchased from J3

J3 reserves the right to determine whether a repair falls under manufacturer warranty or wear and tear, in alignment with manufacturer guidelines.

Service Process

To request service under this warranty:

  1. Contact J3 via phone, email, or in person
  2. Provide proof of purchase and describe the issue
  3. J3 will assess and confirm eligibility
  4. Service will be scheduled (in-store, on-site, or pickup/drop-off as applicable)

 Transferability

This warranty is:

  • Non-transferable, unless explicitly approved by J3 in writing
  • Valid only for the original purchaser

At the time of service, all functionality assessments are based on technician observation. While every effort is made to ensure safe and proper operation, J3 cannot guarantee future performance and is not liable for subsequent failures after service completion.
